Black Porridge with Miso, Coconut and Banana

Below is one of the delicious recipes on the DetoxWithMe diet.  More than a detox, learn how to maintain a healthy body and mind in day-to-day life.



250g black rice, cooked
100g quinoa, cooked
3 bananas, sliced
4tsp palm sugar or soft brown sugar
2 tsp miso
300 ml coconut milk.


Mix the cooked rice and quinoa with some grated nutmeg.
Add the sliced banana’s, sugar, miso and coconut milk.

To serve:

Heat the porridge and serve int he small gratin dish.
Garnish with sliced banana and desiccated coconut.
